This years Weymouth trip will take place from the 8th to the 13th of April, thats 6 nights away. Number of nights is flexible we should be able to accommodate those only wanting to stay for fewer nights. As many of you will know Weymouth offers very safe sailing on flat water in Portland Harbour, though its best if you have had some experience of open water sailing. Wind is gernerally much less gusrty than we are used to and water is usually quite flat. We will be arranging for GPS units for those that want to participate in a little bit of speed competition
We will be staying at Pebble Bank Caravan park which can accommodate us in static vans sleeping 4 or 6 (no one shares a double bed unless they want to!!) or they can come in their own campervans and stay on the site.
We will be making use of the facilities at Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy for parking, launching, snacks and showers. The club will try to arrange a group rate for launch fees and we expect to pay this for members.
Accommodation, last year was £66 for 5 nights plus factor the cost for food and getting there. Breakfasts will be in the caravans and evening meals will either be out at a pub or we can get a takeaway.
